Best Footballers from Russian Children’s Homes Meet their Arsenal Peers

17 October 2016, Moscow. On 12 — 16 October, with support from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two winning teams of MegaFon’s Future Depends On You football tournament visited London for their prize trip. For the first time in the tournament’s history, a reception was organized for the young footballers at the Russian Embassy in the United Kingdom. Thanks to the personal support of Alisher Usmanov and active assistance by Arsenal FC, the teams visited the club, spoke with manager Arsene Wenger and goalkeeper Petr Cech, played a friendly against the club’s youth team and cheered on the Gunners at the Emirates stadium in a match again Swansea City.

Winners of Future Depends on You Tournament Become World’s Best

25 July 2016, Moscow. The Totem football club from Krasnoyarsk, which won the Future Depends on You open Russian nationwide football tournament for teams from children’s homes and orphanages in 2010, became world champion at a prestigious international tournament on 24 July 2016 in Poland. Teams from 27 countries competed for the title.

30 May 2016, Sochi. The 11th Future Depends on You open Russian nationwide football tournament for teams from children’s homes and orphanages has finished in Sochi. The winning teams were Gagarinets (Gagarin Kansk Children’s Home) and Sokol (Negino Children’s Home).
