«Russia needs young energetic footballers. We hope to find such footballers amongst these guys. And in several years we will be proud that there are participants of this tournament playing for Russian clubs. This is our dream.» – Sergey Syrov, Sport Express, St Petersburg.

«The Future Depends on You tournament is undoubtedly a memorable event for everyone involved. It’s not just a celebration of sport but also an excellent opportunity for the kids to interact and make new friends.» – Nikolay Tolstykh, President of the Russian Football Union (2012 – 2015)

«It’s always nice when a positive and kind deed begun a decade ago continues and thrives. We are confident that the tournament for children’s homes and orphanages will soon pick up pace even faster. Football is one of the few games that truly brings people together. We want to believe that playing at home or away, participants can interact not just between themselves. Let’s hope that in the stands there might be adults as well who can become friends for the players and maybe even future parents.» – Nikolay Dolgopolov, President of the Federation of Sports Journalists of Russia
